John P Edwards, PhD
Co-founder & Board Treasurer

Dr. John Edwards is a higher education leader, spiritual companion, and pastoral minister whose work bridges spiritual formation, reflective practice, and inclusive program design. As Director of the Center for Residential Ministry at Villanova University, he has shaped spaces for discernment and growth across faith traditions and life stages—designing retreats, guiding graduate ministry students, and mentoring emerging leaders. Grounded in systems thinking and interpersonal attentiveness, John brings a collaborative, justice-oriented lens to every initiative he leads.

At Woodland Pacific, John helps steward a vision where vocation and neurodivergence are not at odds but intertwined—where learners are invited to reflect deeply, recognize their gifts, and apply them in service of the common good. His background in systematic theology, chaplaincy education, and dialogue facilitation shapes Woodland Pacific’s commitment to slow, intentional growth and human-centered support. John's presence ensures that the organization’s work remains grounded in values of trust, interdependence, and transformation.
